Who We Are

We are a student organization at The Ohio State University built to develop members' understanding of the automotive and motorsports businesses, as well as provide hands-on experiences that expand their knowledge of engineering and fabrication practices. As a student-managed off-road race team, we strive to present challenges to our members that enable them to learn the important elements of project management, business management, and engineering design.

What We Do

Each year our team undertakes the charge of designing, fabricating, and racing an off-road vehicle to compete with various other universities and colleges around the world. We design our vehicles from scratch each year, and fabricate most of each vehicle in our Student Projects shop at the Center for Automotive Research at Ohio State. The vehicles are judged on feasibility and originality of design, and the usability and effectiveness of the vehicle.

Our team allows students, faculty, and other members of the community to pool resources and knowledge to continuously improve our vehicle designs and our abilities as engineers. This team is a non profit organization under The OSU College of Engineering.
